THE FLORIDA STATE POETS ASSOCIATION CONTESTS FOR THE YEAR 2008

CONTEST RULES

Please read carefully and follow directions.
Any violations will disqualify the entry.)


1.
Any poem submitted must:
a. be the original work of the contestant,
be unpublished in any form, and not
have won more than $10 in any contest.
b. be written in English, be titled unless a haiku.
c. have a 40 line limit unless stated otherwise.


2.
The same poem must not be entered in more than one category.
Categories 1 and 2 limited to two entries per poet.
Categories 3 through 25 limited to ONE entry per poet.


3.
FORMAT: Typed, single-spaced on one side of 8 1/2 X 11" white paper.
Submit 2 copies, category name and number on BOTH copies on upper left.
Poet's name & address on one copy only (upper right).
Mail all entries together, with check, in regular first class mail.


4.
FEES: All poets $2 each for Categories 1 & 2.
All other categories $1 each. Category 3 free to members only.


5. PAYMENT: All checks or money orders made payable to FSPA, Inc.
